Dear SailMaker User,

Thank you, for taking the time to read this e-mail and the attached newsletter.

Why have you received this? Sail Science 2010 purchased Sail Science mid last year, we have noticed that at some time or another you have been a SailMaker user or shown an interested in SailMaker. This is our introduction to you the Sailmaker. We are providing the core SailMaker design tools. That includes all sail types (Main/Headsail/Gaff/Assy Sym). It includes panel development, Patching, panel file nesting and file exporting.

Sail Science 2010 also has other sailmaking specific tools available to help you grow your business.

The team at Sail Science 2010 LTD is working hard to bring the SailMaker software and Sail Science the business up to date. This has taken longer than we would have liked, but during this time we have been able to plan for the future.

If you would like to know more, please let me know and we will contact you. At the same time if you don't want to receive information about SailMaker or Sail Science 2010 products please also let me know and we will remove you from the mailing list.

Late last year we presented our SailMaker software to the UK-Halsey Sailmaker Group. Our software was well received, with 20 new lofts jumping onboard. The group also showed alot of interest in our other products SailQuoter and Sail Shooter.

As you will see in our newsletter, the UK- Halsey Group is looking to expand their loft network worldwide, if it is of interest please let us knoe and we will pass on your details.

Thanks again for taking the time to read our Newsletter,

We look forward to helping you grow your business.

Regards,

Geoff Bishop

Hello All,

We are pleased to announce that the transfer of the Sail Science business is now complete. We, the new owners, are a group of sailmakers and software developers with many years experience in the industry.

Some of you I know from my previous time with Sail Science, where I spent 9 years developing the SailMaker, PlotMaker SailQuoter, SailShooter and other tools. Since then I have written the Tangent software that drives the Aeronaut plotters and sail stringing machines used by almost all the major membrane sail facilities and working on other sailmaking software such as Accucut.

Our plan is a long term one. The purpose of Sail Science is to provide you, the sailmakers, with the design and production tools to run your business. We see this as software that works, day in day out, that you can rely on.

We will be keeping the Mac OS X version of SailMaker running and fully supporting it. There will be a native Intel Mac version coming and later string sail tools. We also have a new Mac and Windows PlotMaker, that some are using and we will be make more widely available. We will be expanding the library of design in the SailMaker LE library and developing SailQuoter.

We will be providing full support for all the existing Sailmaker software. We will be addressing bugs and problems that you may be having. We can provide software and dongle upgrades as required to keep you up with the latest computers and operating systems.

Our apologies for any delays, we had some announcements from Bernice before we had settled and some problems with transferring the email, which are now sorted. I have emails from some of you which I will reply to. If you have sent an email recently and it bounced please send again now.

I look forward to making contact with you all in due course.

Regards

Paul Turner
